Based on his popular Journal of Court Reporting cover article. Jason goes through a humorous and informational presentation with the audience, outlining the increasing challenges we face in our ever faster paced reporting, detailing the reasons why they�re with us now, and providing suggestions of how to cope with them.

Jason Meadors was raised in Bloomington, Illinois, where he met his wife, Sherri. The Marines introduced him to court reporting. He was a Stenomask reporter in the Marines for almost four years and was selected to attend their first stenotype school. Upon his honorable discharge, he went to steno school in Lakewood, Colorado, and he and Sherri make their home in Colorado to this day. They have three children and five grandchildren. Jason has been twice president of the Colorado Court Reporters Association, president of the StenoCAT Users Network Association, and director and secretary-treaurer of NCRA. He has been involved in reporter associations since 1982. He�s been awarded the DSA in both his Colorado and StenoCAT groups. In 2000, he and his colleague,
